Chaos Organized

We enjoyed some Romanian rain today and everyone worked hard but got a little wet in the process.  The cabins are clean and the boys learned how to mix cement for the foundation of the new outdoor meeting center.  I mistakenly called it a storage room but the team is laying foundation and beginning the frame for a much needed covered outdoor meeting center.  It's quite possible the boys will return home with callused hands.

Another amazing lunch then it was off to Turnu Rosu for an afternoon of activities.  We learned many lessons from yesterday's chaotic chaos to create more organized chaos today and it worked!  The group was divided into four teams - green, red, blue, and purple.  We sent red and green outside to play parachute games while green and purple learned how to make rainbow loom bracelets.  The kids all picked it up quickly so everyone made multiple bracelets and some necklaces as well.

The next two events were paper airplanes and the game of four corners.  It gets crazy so I'll post a few pictures I was able to capture of the labor this morning and games this afternoon.

The team is coming together and working well to serve the camp and engage with the children.  It's exhausting work so everyone will sleep well tonight but with smiles and memories of the sweet children at Turnu Rosu.
